Hey. A little more about our Facebook project. One of the hardest things the admins/planners have to deal with is scheduling this event. We know people want to participate. We understand that life is busy, your time is valuable, and jumping into something late is rarely fun. So we think a permanent, year round writing group is needed to meet the needs of the many and enrich the annual event. The group will allow us to share our writing year round as we like, organize readings and events, share information and possibly participate in the occasional prompt. I've pasted the Facebook description below. You can indeed join the group by clicking this link: www.facebook.com/groups/1452945638309365/Please do so. Everyone who's signed up here is encouraged to join. Tomorrow I will start sending messages out to all the psst members I can and adding them. If you know someone who has written for ARTW in the past or could benefit from a group like this then go ahead and add them. I'm currently writing some guidelines/suggestions for the group to be posted there tomorrow. Thanks! *** "This is a group for writers of all kinds where they can post their writing, create together, share information, network, and converse. We are professionals, hobbyists, screenwriters, rainy day limerick spinners, and comic book artists. We are courageous, compassionate, and real. Everyone here has a right to write. We are interested in verse poetry, flash-fiction, book reviews, jots, essays, compositions, music to write to, Spanish, acrostics, yarns, rap lyrics, testimonies, political speeches, spoken word events, writer interviews, paper, glee club songs, scenes, incantations, first drafts of epic novels, quotes, memoirs, how-to's, short stories, lists, comedy bits, dreams, toasts, other writing, and just hanging out every once in awhile."
