My poem was threefold. One was how I've always described the chopped up mix of long and short term memory I typically experience. The other is a shade of Alzheimer's, which I hope to never experience, and if it has anything to do with heredity, it is probable that I won't. The meat is actual memories my paternal grandparents who died when I was around 10. The end was what I find myself saying most of the time since having and raising kids. If I don't write it down, it'll get distracted right out of my brain. I loved those cups and glass spoons. And those milkshakes! The other part of this is a thing that happened to me a lot where I would grey out into memories as if I were there, then come out of it a bit nauseated. I don't know anyone this happens to. It hasn't happened in years.
